Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup keto sweetener (monk fruit, erythritol, or allulose)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Optional Add-Ins:

1 oz sugar-free dark chocolate (for extra richness)

1/4 tsp espresso powder (to enhance the chocolate flavor)

Instructions

A jar of homemade keto chocolate sauce with a spoon drizzling thick chocolate.
This sugar-free keto chocolate sauce is rich, velvety, and perfect for desserts!

1-Melt Butter & Cream

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt butter and heavy cream together. Stir occasionally to combine.

2-Add Cocoa & Sweetener

Whisk in cocoa powder, sweetener, and salt, stirring constantly to prevent clumps.

3-Simmer Until Smooth

Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes, whisking frequently until the sauce thickens slightly.

4-Add Vanilla & Final Touches

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract (and optional chocolate or espresso powder).

5-Serve or Store

Let cool for a few minutes, then use immediately or transfer to a jar for storage.

Notes

  • Too thick? Add 1 tbsp hot water or almond milk to thin it out.
  • Too thin? Simmer for 1-2 extra minutes to thicken.
  • Dairy-Free? Swap butter & cream for coconut cream & coconut oil.
  • Storage: Keep in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 7 days. Reheat gently before using.
