This Keto Chocolate Sauce is rich, silky, and completely sugar-free—perfect for drizzling over keto pancakes, ice cream, cheesecake, or even stirring into coffee! Made with cocoa powder, butter, heavy cream, and a keto-friendly sweetener, this low-carb chocolate sauce has all the indulgence of traditional chocolate syrup without the sugar crash. Ingredients
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup keto sweetener (monk fruit, erythritol, or allulose)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional Add-Ins:
1 oz sugar-free dark chocolate (for extra richness)
1/4 tsp espresso powder (to enhance the chocolate flavor)
Instructions

1-Melt Butter & Cream
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt butter and heavy cream together. Stir occasionally to combine.
2-Add Cocoa & Sweetener
Whisk in cocoa powder, sweetener, and salt, stirring constantly to prevent clumps.
3-Simmer Until Smooth
Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes, whisking frequently until the sauce thickens slightly.
4-Add Vanilla & Final Touches
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract (and optional chocolate or espresso powder).
5-Serve or Store
Let cool for a few minutes, then use immediately or transfer to a jar for storage.
Notes
- Too thick? Add 1 tbsp hot water or almond milk to thin it out.
- Too thin? Simmer for 1-2 extra minutes to thicken.
- Dairy-Free? Swap butter & cream for coconut cream & coconut oil.
- Storage: Keep in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 7 days. Reheat gently before using.
