How to make Crispy Bang Bang Chicken Bowl
Ingredients (2 bowls)
For the chicken
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ cup cornstarch or flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder
- Oil spray (for air fryer or oven)
For the Bang Bang sauce
- 3 tbsp mayo
- 1.5 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp honey or lime juice
For the bowl
- Cooked rice or jasmine rice
- Cucumber, shredded carrots, lettuce, or cabbage
- Sesame seeds + green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Mix chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder.
- Dip in egg → coat in cornstarch.
- Air fry at 190°C (375°F) for 12–15 min until crispy (or bake 25 min).
- Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Build the bowl: rice + veggies + crispy chicken + drizzle with Bang Bang sauce.
- Top with sesame seeds & green onions (optional but cute).
